Rotman Professor Named as one of the Most Influential Management Thinkers from India.

Tweet thisToronto – A professor at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management has been named as one of the most influential management thinkers from India by Thinkers50 India.

Dilip Soman is a professor of marketing and holds the Corus Chair in Communications Strategy at the Rotman School. A behavioral scientist with a PhD from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, he is the coordinator of the Behavioural Economics in Action research cluster. In 2015 his book, The Last Mile: Creating Social and Economic Value from Behavioral Insights, was published by Rotman-UTP Publishing. In 2013, he was a co-editor of Innovating for the Global South, which was also published by Rotman-UTP Publishing. He is well known for his research and teaching in the areas of marketing strategy, customer management, pricing, service management, public policy and behavioral economics.

The alphabetical list of fifty thinkers, which was announced on December 30, celebrates the best management thinkers from India, based on their work in the domains of management, leadership, business marketing, finance, people management and corporate strategy.  Thinkers50 India is a joint initiative of the Institute for Competitiveness, India, and Thinkers50, which in November announced their own ranking of the leading management thinkers globally, which included Rotman Professors Roger Martin and Richard Florida as well as Adjunct Prof. Don Tapscott.
