New Face of the Rotman School of Management Revealed

August 28, 2012 Toronto – With the launch of an entirely new website, the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto presents a new face to the world today.

The site’s homepage welcomes visitors with bold colours, a clean design, and dynamic images. Featured links and videos, info-graphics and expanded navigation menus provide visitors with an engaging and efficient web experience that truly reflects the School’s mission of innovation and new thinking.

“After a year of focused effort, and the support of hundreds of students, faculty, staff, and alumni, we are pleased to introduce our new site,” says Pym Buitenhuis, Director of Marketing at the Rotman School. “The new website would not have been possible without our vendor Nonlinear Creations, an Ottawa-based web strategy and development company who helped us every step of the way as a true partner. Their recommendation of Sitecore as our web content management and online engagement software platform has been an outstanding choice for us. Today our vision and hard work has come to life.”

Divided into four main sections, DEGREES, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, FACULTY AND RESEARCH and CONNECT, the new site allows visitors to quickly and easily access information based on their needs.

For prospective students looking to further their graduate business education, information in the DEGREES section details the range of Masters programs available, including the Rotman Full-Time MBA, Morning MBA, Evening MBA, One-Year Executive MBA, Omnium Global Executive MBA, Master of Finance, as well as our PhD program and more.

In the PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT section, visitors can learn about and register for upcoming speakers events hosted by the School around the world, while also learning about executive education courses in a diverse range of offerings such as leadership development, Integrative Thinking, board effectiveness, Social CRM and much more. Visitors also have quick access to the Rotman Initiative for Women in Business

The FACULTY AND RESEARCH area explores the depth of Rotman’s top-ranked faculty and the latest thinking in management education. The Desautels Centre for Integrative Thinking, Rotman DesignWorks, and a range of other high-powered research centres, including  the Martin Prosperity Institute, the International Centre for Pension Management and the Centre for Health Sector Strategy are just a few of the places visitors can visit directly from the main page.

Finally, CONNECT features a social media hub called Rotman Now with student blogs, videos, twitter feeds and more, information about Dean Roger Martin, the new Rotman building, the latest in business thinking from the award-winning Rotman magazine and details on how to contact our programs and people.
