Rotman School Event Aims to Help Break the Glass Ceiling

Toronto, November 7, 2011 - An annual event aimed at female candidates for programs at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management returns this month with a new and expanded format.

"Break the Glass Ceiling: Women and the MBA" is a half-day program featuring speakers, panellists and breakout sessions covering what you need to know about application and enrolment procedures, the nuts and bolts of doing an MBA, and prospective career options after graduation. The day will also include information sessions for Rotman programs including the Morning MBA and Evening MBA for working professionals, Full-Time MBA, Executive MBA and Omnium Global Executive MBA programs. In additional, information on executive education programs of the Rotman Initiative for Women in Business and the Rotman Master of Finance program will be available.

Anne Sado, Rotman MBA’81, who is President of George Brown College, will deliver the keynote address.
