Stochastic Environmental Research & Risk Assessment

Special Issue on: “Risks and Uncertainties and Environment”

The focus of this special issue is on bringing together stochastic modeling research papers in various fields of environmental sciences and to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas, especially at the interface of quantitative risk management and environment. The technical objective is to exchange ideas and techniques from the two areas as well as to establish a framework for the development of methodologies that integrate risk management tool into environment issues. Authors are encouraged to submit both theoretical and applied articles addressing the theme of the special issue.

Paper submission:

Submitted articles must not have been previously published or currently submitted for journal publication elsewhere. As an author, you are responsible for understanding and adhering to our submission guidelines.   Two conferences on Risk Management and Engineering Management are to be organized in April and November, 2008 by RiskChina Research Center (http://www.risklabchina.ca) at University of Toronto. Submission to the Special Issue is however not restricted to conference participants.

Approximate date for final submission of accepted manuscripts: 1 December 2009
