On Saturday, November 24, 2018, Rotman held its Full-Time MBA Open House.
We host this event annually, and every year we are impressed by how so many people come together to experience the very best of what Rotman has to offer. It was wonderful to see the building buzzing with activity!
Our keynote speaker, Theresa Shutt (MBA ‘02), started the day off with a captivating talk about her career journey and how her decision to come to Rotman for her MBA changed her life.
In the afternoon, prospective students were invited to attend sample classes hosted by some of our exceptional faculty: Glen Whyte, Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, and Nitin Mehta, Professor of Marketing.
Our guests experienced an introduction to Rotman’s unique self-development program with Dr. Maja Djikic, psychologist and Director of the Self-Development Lab.
Erin Miller, Director of the Full-Time MBA Career Centre, also lead an informative Career Discussion Panel of alumni and current students who discussed how the Rotman MBA has changed their career trajectories.
Numerous information booths were also hosted for each of our programs by our dedicated academic director Joe Milner and staff from the Career Centre, Financial Aid, the Office of Student Engagement, Full-Time MBA Recruitment and Admissions, and Professional and Specialized Programs Recruitment and Admissions.
Our hard-working student ambassadors, staff, and faculty welcomed prospective students, fielded many questions about the MBA experience, and led tours around our building. We sincerely thank our everyone who shared their Saturday with us in person and online.
If you missed it, the whole event was live-streamed online:
Congratulations and thank you to everyone — the day was a big success!
