Quantitative Reasoning for Management

From productivity to product quality, statistics can provide essential insights into organizational performance and identify which factors lead to positive change. This course teaches students how to use and understand important quantitative tools to create operational efficiencies and achieve strategic goals.

North America: Workforce Diversity

Prominent in the North American business environment, this course examines the business case for diversity and inclusion. Students conduct corporate site visits and provide analysis – interacting with local business leaders and international faculty. Students develop a strong understanding of the North American economic environment, diversity best practices, and cultural perspective.

Personal Leadership

What's the difference between managing and leading? What is effective leadership? Through case discussions, students are exposed to real-world management scenarios and new approaches, with a focus on how individual personality and style can influence leadership competency.

Negotiating in a Global Environment

Based on thoroughly-tested concepts adapted to the international business arena, this course teaches effective deal-making within a global context. Students engage in simulations that highlight important issues in cross-cultural negotiating.

Introduction to Capstone Project: Applied Innovation

The Capstone Project begins in the first module and continues throughout the program. This approach help students understand bias and apply learning through scenario planning, applied innovation and defining sources of competitive advantage. Students receive a deep understanding of complex issues and learn to create and implement global strategies in support of sustainable, high-performing, innovative companies.
