Program structure

The Morning MBA and Evening MBA programs are structured to allow you to study, work, and maintain your busy schedule. Once you have mastered the fundamentals, you can choose from a wide range of electives, including those taught during regular working hours.

Classes for the Morning MBA and Evening MBA programs take place over 32 months, twice a week: in the morning from 7:00 to 8:59 am, or after work in the evening, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Both programs offer the same high-quality Rotman approach to world-class business education as the Full-Time MBA, while giving you the flexibility to maintain your busy schedule.

The duration of the programs can be reduced should you opt to take additional elective courses during the designated academic terms. No exemptions are given for courses completed toward another undergraduate or graduate degree. At Rotman, we offer a full and transformative educational experience, without shortcuts or compromises.

Years 1 and 2

Year 3

Get yourself into the academic mindset in late July and August with optional preparatory courses in Business Mathematics, Statistics, Finance and Accounting.

In mid-August, Rotman hosts an overnight orientation event designed to welcome you to the community and set the foundation for your academic experience.

Core program

The program begins with an intensive week in August, after orientation. Over the duration of the program, there are three intensive weeks, each of which requires you to take a week off work to complete one to two courses in an intensive format.

Regular classes for the Morning MBA and Evening MBA programs begin in early September. The first half of each program consists of a core curriculum which introduces you to the fundamentals of management.

A key component of your Rotman experience is leadership. Newly offered this year is the Leadership Development Practicum.
