Why did you decide to study the Master of Financial Risk Management program?

With an increasing demand for risk management professionals, the MFRM program is the perfect opportunity to use quantitative skills from my undergraduate studies and learn how to apply them in finance. As the program is offering great academic and career support throughout my studies, obtaining the MFRM degree will give me a competitive advantage in the job market.

What are your top reasons for choosing Rotman

Rotman was first attractive to me because of its recognition throughout Canada and as a top business school it provides the opportunity to learn from world-renowned faculty. The fact that Rotman is located very near Bay street was also a factor, since its connections to the industry and a large alumni network will give me a chance to expand my own industry network before graduating from the program.

What are you looking forward to most in the program?

I am most looking forward to the project with RBC where I think I will have the opportunity to experience things I had previously not been exposed to during my internship and have a chance to apply what I have learned in the first semester to real life situations.

The Master of Financial Risk Management is a full time program designed to prepare ambitious young professionals for careers in risk management and finance.
