Accounting: Comprehensive Examinations
Our Strength: Our Program
Comprehensive Exams are an important step in achieving a doctorate degree. Our exams are designed to test a student's competency in several academic areas that are critical to their discipline and support their research.
After completing required course work at the end of the second year, students complete a set of two qualifying examinations. The exams test a student's synthesis of the literature in the field and assess readiness to proceed to independent research. The exams include three components:
- Financial Accounting
- Managerial Accounting
- Auditing
