The PhD program at the Rotman School of Management provides a rigorous environment for academic research and study. We are looking for outstanding doctoral candidates that have demonstrated success in their academic fields. While meeting the minimum requirements is a prerequisite for application, it does not guarantee admission.

To complete your application to the PhD program at the Rotman School of Management, you are required to provide documentation including a letter of intent, your CV, transcripts for all post-secondary institutions attended, two reference letters, GMAT or GRE scores, and TOEFL scores where applicable. Rotman’s PhD admission committee uses standardized tests to assess your quantitative and qualitative abilities, and yourEnglish language aptitude. Your standardized test results are considered in proportion to the other components of your application, and are one aspect of your total application package.
