A personal research consultation with a BIC librarian will provide you with expert assistance on locating and evaluating resources, designing a research inquiry, and uncovering hard-to-find information.

Students can schedule a research consultation with a librarian by contacting bicstaff@rotman.utoronto.ca Depending on your needs, a librarian will show you how to:

Create a proper search query
Search the BIC's databases and other business resources
Use the University of Toronto Libraries' catalogue to locate books and journal articles
Locate hard-to-find information and resources, such as statistics or data

When booking your research consultation, include the following information in your email:

What information are you looking for?
What have you done so far to find this information?
What course do you need this information for?
How soon do you need this information?

This service is available for current U of T students, faculty and staff members only. Appointments are available between 9 - 4:30, Monday through Friday. There are no evening or weekend appointments.
