    Bio

    Alison Jing Xu is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto-Scarborough, with a cross-appointment to the Marketing area at Rotman.  Her research takes the information processing approach to examine the processes of mind-sets, goals, and sensory inputs influence consumer judgments and decision making. Her articles have been published in various journals, including the Journal of Consumer Research, Psychological Science, Management Science, the Journal of Consumer Psychology and the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, and Advances in Experimental Social Psychology. Her research won The Franco Nicosia ACR Best Competitive Paper Award in 2008.
