Professor Brooks is the Director of the University’s Master of Management & Professional Accounting Program, and of its Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting Program.  He has authored or co-authored/edited several books including Business & Professional Ethics for Directors, Executives & Accountants, 6e (2012); Ethics & Governance: Developing and Maintaining an Ethical Corporate Culture, 4e (2012); and Principles of Stakeholder Management (1999). Professor Brooks is a former Director of the Canadian Centre for Ethics & Corporate Policy, and was a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal for Business Ethics for fourteen years.  He is a Faculty Associate of the University’s Centre for Ethics and member of its Centre for Bioethics.  He consults and speaks frequently on governance, business and/or professional ethics, risk management, ethical decision making, conflicts of interest, and developing and maintaining an ethical corporate culture.  He received the 2000 Ethics in Action Award – Ongoing Social Responsibility – Individual in recognition of his leadership in the field of corporate social responsibility.
