SYNOPSIS: The Centre for Health Sector Strategy at the Rotman School of Management is organizing a panel event focused on emerging trends in the life sciences sector, with a particular focus on the role of competition in healthcare innovation. We would like to convene a global panel to highlight the experiences of other countries in this area, with a particular focus on the relationship between the government and the private sector. Ontario has much to learn and would benefit from the insights gained by those working on similar challenges in other jurisdictions.

ABOUT THE CENTRE: Launched in 2004, the Centre for Health Sector Strategy @ Rotman is a strategic area of focused research for the Rotman School. Under the direction of Professor Brian R. Golden and a board of advisors from industry, government and academia, the centre drives a research agenda that produces actionable management knowledge for the health sector and the life sciences.
