SYNOPSIS: This session will explore the topic of procurement and address the following questions:

  • What do we mean by healthcare procurement?
  • Who are the main players and what is their role?
  • How does Ontario compare to other jurisdictions?
  • What are the challenges?

BIOGRAPHY: David Yundt is President and CEO of Plexxus and has led the organization since it began operating in April of 2006. During his career, David has developed and implemented innovative business solutions in a variety of industries that include shared services, health care, consumer products, third party logistics, distribution and pharmaceuticals. David sits on several boards, and is Chair of the Centre for Outsourcing Research and Education (CORE). He is also an Executive in Residence at the Schulich Health Industry Management Program. David is a graduate from Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, and the Rotman School of Management Directors Education Program.
