BOOKS SYNOPSIS:

"Understanding Gender at Work: How to Use, Lose and Expose Blind Spots for Career Success" (Tellwell Talent, 2017) by Delee Fromm offers a wide range of career strategies and practical skill development techniques based on gender blind spots. Understanding the invisible code of conduct in masculine work places, being able to use both gender approaches flexibly, and recognizing gender bias in real time offers women a significant career advantage. Based on the author's experience and illustrated by stories and insights from her clients, this book is for women who want to elevate their careers and achieve greater success. It is also an essential guide for men and women who champion and mentor women in the workplace.

"A Workbook for Understanding Gender at Work: Build a Thriving Career"
(TLAC, 2018) by Delee Fromm and Rocca Morra Hodge is the essential companion to Understanding Gender at Work. This workbook fosters significant awareness of gender approaches in the key career skills of negotiation, communication, promotion, presence, politics and leadership. The workbook tools include: objectives for career planning; self-reflective coaching questions; gender style questionnaires for each career skill; case studies on inclusive leadership, and skill and career planning worksheets.
