Rotman-ICPM Pension Governance Education Program
The Pension Governance Education Program is a unique governance program designed for board members of large pension funds and long-horizon investment institutions from around the globe.
Developed by ICPM and Rotman Executive Programs at the University of Toronto, the program instills best practices in key areas such as organizational mission, fiduciary duties, investment styles, risk management and human resources management.

Who Should Attend?
Since the first offering in 2011, over 366 board members and trustees from 17 countries have attended versions of this program. ICPM and Rotman are continually updating the program design to ensure that board members and trustees are prepared to face the latest boardroom challenges.
Special Offer
Enroll in both Rotman-ICPM programs, Pension Governance Education and Cybersecurity Risk Oversight, to be eligible for a discounted rate (10% discount for non-ICPM Research Partners; 20% discount for ICPM Research Partners) on both programs.
To qualify for the dual program discounts, participants must submit applications and deposits for both programs on the same day (midnight deadline). Later registrations to the additional program will only receive the discount on the second program. This offer only applies to the 2024 cohorts of these programs. Discounts are not provided retroactively. No other discounts apply.
ICPM Research Partners who register for one program are eligible to receive a 15% discount.

Each application is reviewed by Rotman’s admissions committee to ensure participants have the appropriate academic and work experience.
Payment
Payments can be made online. A deposit of 50% of the program fee (up to $4,000) is required at time of application. If the full fee is not paid at the time of application, the balance of the program fee is due 30 days after receipt of invoice or 30 days before program start date, whichever is first. Fees will be refunded to those not accepted into the program.
