Leading Strategic Change

Set the right direction for your change initiative and inspire effective action. You’ll redefine how you think about change in your organization and what you need to achieve your vision.

Set the right direction.

Successful leadership requires the ability to drive and lead effective change. Growth can only be sustained by shaking up the status quo. However, people at every level are unwilling to change if a particular tactic has worked in the past, but the world keeps changing and your organization needs to change too. For organizations to thrive, leaders must influence the people around them to adapt and succeed.

In Rotman's Leading Strategic Change, we prepare leaders to succeed at change management with tools for targeting behaviour, design, and culture so they can engage teams, influence perceptions and implement lasting change.

Inspire effective action.

Throughout this program, you will progress from analyzing your change initiative through the design of a framework for change to developing a unique model for accelerating the process in your organization. Rotman’s Opposing Forces approach will enable you to tackle your project’s most complicated challenges, make better decisions and achieve optimal results.

Key Benefits

  • diagnose sources of resistance
  • apply new tools to implement change
  • identify optimal distinctiveness
  • learn to build and apply behavioral, design, and culture tools

Your implicit beliefs about change shape your capability to influence others. By assessing your fundamental motivations and those of your team you will be better positioned to guide people and create environments where they can thrive.

My experience attending both Rotman's Integrative Thinking  and Leading Strategic Change programs exceeded all my expectations.  I attended the programs back-to-back and I was inspired by my interaction with the faculty and the other attendees. The programs have given me the opportunity to filter my thoughts through elements like strategic thinking and change management.  The knowledge gained and tools learned will be great for my future.
