FAQ
Questions will be posted as they come. Please direct any questions to financelab@rotman.utoronto.ca.
How does registration work?
We are currently in the late registration phase of registration. University faculty, staff or club head can fill out the registration form to reserve a spot for a team from their institution. Last minute spots are still available on a first-come first-serve basis.
What does registration include?
Registration includes all of the costs involved in enrolling in the competition, events held during the competition, as well as 6 meals (Friday Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner, Saturday Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Can I attend as an observer?
We are currently allowing faculty from other schools to register as observers.
How do I get there?
It is up to each individual team to arrange travel and lodging accomodations. The competitions host hotel is the Holiday Inn Toronto Midtown. Please see the Participant's Page for booking details. Rooms have been reserved for RITC participants until January 19, 2009. Below is a map of the competition site at the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management.

How many students will be on each team?
There are 4 students per team. In the Analyst-Trader case, there will be 2 traders and 2 analysts. In the Outcry cases, there will be two floor-traders, and two analysts/runners.
Is the competition for MBA students or for undergraduate students?
A school can send a team that consists of either MBA students or undergraduate students.
How many teams can participate from each school?
Currently we are limiting registration to one team per school. Due to the logistical constraints of the competition (needing computers for traders), we can only allow 50 teams of 4 students.
However, if your school wishes to send a second team please let us know by January 16th and we will try to accommodate this to the best of our ability.
