Overview
Compustat North America is a database of U.S. and Canadian fundamental and market information on more than 24,000 active and inactive publicly held companies. It provides more than 300 annual and 100 quarterly Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and supplemental data items.
The FRTL provides 3 seperate methods of accessing compustat. The datafiles are mounted on the Rotman Q:\ fileserver, or you can access them via web-based queries on WRDS or CHASS. Note: You will need to be within the Rotman Building with the Q:\ mounted in order to access the helpfiles referenced in the "Documents" section above.
