Deadlines
Applications to the Full-Time MBA Program are accepted beginning in September of each year. Admissions decisions are made on a continuous basis throughout the year upon completion of a candidate's application file. The final deadline date in the annual application cycle is April 30. Applications will not be considered complete until all required elements are received. In order to ensure your best chance for entry, please submit your application as early as possible in the application cycle. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) should be written prior to the application deadline.
Please be aware that, as with many highly competitive programs, the class may become full before the final application deadline date. Therefore, while the final deadline date in the annual application cycle is April 30, it is highly recommended that applicants submit their completed applications as early as possible within the application cycle for the best chance of being admitted.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Applicants seeking an early admission decision who submit their applications by November 15 will be notified of a decision by January 15. Applicants who submit their applications by the second early decision deadline of February 1 will be notified of a decision by March 15.
While International applicants are strongly encouraged to apply by November 15, applications will still be accepted until April 30. However, please consider the length of time it takes to be approved for a student visa when submitting your application for admission.

Additional Skill Requirements
The Rotman School strongly recommends that entering students have a solid foundation in undergraduate-level mathematics. Basic algebra is necessary and advanced algebra and basic calculus are desirable. It is assumed that students will have a good level of facility with word processing, the Internet, and spreadsheet programs. Students who feel they need upgrading in computer skills should consult the brochure for the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
Interpersonal skills and team-based competencies are attributes associated with successful managers that we value at the Rotman School. We specifically address skill development in these areas in our MBA programs. Although we recognize that skill development in these areas is a long-term process, we encourage successful applicants to the program to pursue courses, programs, and situations that will foster and sustain interpersonal skill development and team-based competencies.
