CORE COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

LEADERSHIP (RSM 1262)

The purpose of this course is to give students a practical and a theoretical understanding of leadership.  The course will focus on three basic questions: what is leadership, what kind of leader am I, and how can I develop as a leader?  The course uses experiential processes such as self-assessment exercises, case studies, student presentations, role-plays, videos, and discussion. Through these processes, students will (a) understand the nature of leadership better, (b) enhance their knowledge of personal leadership style, and (c) further an ability to increase their leadership skills.  Active involvement in class exercises and assignments is very important.
