Rotman MBA Students Honoured at Integrative Management Challenge Gala

Toronto, June 13, 2005 – With the end of the school year for full-time MBAs at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, students were recently honoured at the Integrative Management Challenge Awards Gala.

The Integrative Management Challenge is an experiential business simulation during which students work as the executive team of a manufacturing company. Students in the simulation report to an external real-life board of directors, negotiate with union representatives from some of Canada’s largest unions, grapple with budget issues, and tackle the kinds of management challenges companies face every day. Compulsory for 2nd year MBA students, the course embodies the Rotman School’s innovative approach to business education. The IMC is directed by Adjunct Professor Howard Honickman who brings over 30 years of entrepreneurial business experience to the “challenge.”
