I graduated with degrees in Finance and Journalism from the University of Massachusetts. I moved to Canada from the US two years ago, and I&apos;m currently enrolled in the 2-year MBA program at Rotman. While IT consulting has provided me with many challenges, my intention is to explore new career opportunities and find a new direction in my career. I am excited about what the future will bring.

<description>

&lt;img alt="pt4" border="0" src="http://www.rotman.utoronto.ca/mba/students/images/Shuang_Zhou09.jpg" /&gt;

I did my undergrad in literature in China. I came to Canada nine years ago and changed my career to accounting. I had worked in different industries and countries before I came to the Rotman: my experience includes working for Panasonic as an interpreter in Japan and working for an import/export company as an account manager in China. The last position I held was assistant director of accounting in the finance department of the Salvation Army. Giving up a full time job and going back to school were not easy decisions; however, I believe pursuing an MBA degree provides more challenges and will allow me to find my true passion.

<description>
&lt;img alt="pt4" border="0" src="http://www.rotman.utoronto.ca/mba/students/images/Deepak.Pundir08.jpg" /&gt;
I am Deepak Pundir, originally from India. Before coming to Rotman, I was working with Citigroup Japan as a Project Management Consultant. While working there, I realized that there is something extra I need to move up the corporate ladder. So I decided to do an MBA. I had the choice to opt for a one year or two year program, but I realized that a two year program would be best for me in terms of learning, networking, and the eventual application of tools and techniques that I will learn. Why Rotman? This is indeed a good question. My background is in Project Management and I plan to move into Strategy Consulting. So I was looking for a program that could cater my needs with reasonable investment. Reasonable investment, highly qualified faculty (and I mean it), excellent facility, location, and brand. Where else could I get all these besides Rotman?

My name is Yoshit Rastogi, and as I embark on this 2 year journey at Rotman, I invite you to share my experiences. Enroute to Toronto from Bombay, I had a 6 year stop-over in New York City which makes up the core of my professional life in Information Technology as a Senior Consultant and later as a Technology Manager. After immigrating to Canada I have finally gotten an opportunity to pursue an MBA (something I have contemplated over the years) and what better place than Rotman to do so. This Journal is an attempt to put my experiences into words, so read along and enjoy.

My name is Kedar Tupil, and over the course of the next year I hope that my weekly journal entries will give you a glimpse of what the first year of the Rotman MBA program is like. I was born in India and am now a landed immigrant in Canada. My journey to Toronto from India took a slight 13-year detour in the U.S., whereI picked up a couple of Computer Science degrees and seven years of experience in the telecommunications industry as a programmer and later a product manager. So here I am at 31, back in college for an MBA. I am seated on the rollercoaster and the bar is down come along for the ride!
