Class 2009-2010 Executive

The Rotman Women in Management Association (WIMA) promotes women in all aspects of business and management. WIMA encourages and fosters the growth, development and advancement of women who are seeking senior level decision making roles in the business community. The association brings together students, alumnae and industry representatives to discuss the issues facing women in management, to participate in networking events, and to simply have a good time. Together, WIMA participants develop a fuller understanding of what it takes to succeed in business, and how to successfully manage the advancement of their careers.
Mission
WIMA’s mission is to provide Rotman women with:
§ a channel to understand various career paths, and to meet executives in different areas.
§ an opportunity to help other women in their career development.
§ a space to build friendships, network, and have fun.
Events and Activities
WIMA organizes events linked to each one of the statements of its mission. Some examples are Women in Consulting/Finance Panels, She Biz -specifically targeted to introducing high school students to business careers, and Theater Night.
