Rotman Initiative for Women in Business Pens Sponsorship Agreement with BMO Financial Group.

Toronto - Executive women in the GTA will find even more inspiration in the Women in Leadership Speakers series at the Rotman School of Management in 2013, thanks to a new sponsorship agreement with BMO Financial Group. The one-year sponsorship will allow the Rotman Initiative for Women in Business to bring some of the world's top leaders and authors to its Toronto audience.

"BMO's support of the speakers series will take the events to the next level," says Beatrix Dart, Associate Dean, Executive Degree Programs and Executive Director, Rotman Initiative for Women in Business. "It will provide the inspiration we all need to be better leaders every day and will help to reinforce what we teach in our executive development programs throughout the year."

The series was launched in 2008 and has hosted dozens of distinguished speakers including Dee Dee Myers, former White House Press Secretary; Marilyn Carlson Nelson, Chair and CEO, Carlson; Irene Rosenfeld, Chair and CEO, Kraft Foods, Inc.; Sylvia Ann Hewlett, Founding President, Center for Work-Life Policy; and Ilene Lang, President and CEO, Catalyst. Each of the events attracts more than 120 mid- to senior-level executives from the GTA.

 Martin Davidson, Associate Professor of Leadership, Darden Graduate       
 Business School, University of Virginia; Author of The End of Diversity as
 We Know It: Why Diversity Efforts Fail and How Leveraging Difference Can  
 Succeed
(Berrett-Koehler Publishers, 2011) will lead a discussion titled, 
 "Embracing The Weird."                                                    
                                                                            
 May 10, 2013                                                              
 Mahzarin R. Banaji, Richard Clarke Cabot Professor of Social Ethics,      
 Department of Psychology, Harvard University; Senior Advisor to the FAS   
 Dean on Faculty Development; Cowan Chair in Human Social Dynamics, Santa  
 Fe Institute; Co-Author of Blindspot: Hidden Biases of Good People (Random
 House, 2013) will lead a workshop based on her aforementioned co-authored 
 book.
