Prof. Anita McGahan, who holds the Rotman Chair in Management at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, will be the AOM’s president for 2016/17. She assumed the role during the AOM’s annual meeting, which was recently held in Anaheim, and which attracted over 11,000 scholars and practitioners for sessions on a host of subjects relating to business strategy, organizational behavior, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, organizational innovation, technology management, leadership, careers, human resources, organization theory, and other management-related topics.
