November 13, 2017

Toronto – A team of MBA students from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management have won the Kellogg Business Design Challenge hosted by the Kellogg School of Management’s Innovation and Design Association.

The long-running competition, which invites students to apply design thinking to a real-world business challenge, was opened up to teams outside the Kellogg School for the first time this year.

The Rotman team, Lorem Ipsum, consisting of Full Time MBA students Amarpreet Kaur, MBA’19; Fifile Nguyen, MBA’19, Anna Chua, MBA’19 and Michael Vasilev, MBA’19, defeated 27 other teams to win. The case for the competition dealt with P&G’s Pampers line and their pre- and neonatal health education program.

Earlier this year a team from the Kellogg School of Management’s MMM (MBA and Master of Science in Design Innovation) program won the Rotman Business Design Challenge hosted at the Rotman School in April.
