Economic and Environmentally Sustainable Solutions at the Forefront for the University of Toronto’s NeXus Consulting Group.

Toronto –A new team of five MBA students from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management have started work with the School’s sustainability and social-impact consulting firm, NeXus Consulting Group.

Since its inception in 2005, NeXus has expanded its focus from non-profit and social enterprise sectors into the private and public sectors with a focus on economic, social, and environmental sustainability for long term success. Every year, a diverse and talented group of second year Rotman MBA students is selected to join the NeXus team.

This year’s consultants, Michael Barford MBA’ 20, Gauraang Dhar, MBA ’20, Ayesha Nayar, MBA ’20, Saif Orfali MBA ’20, and Kanver Gill, MBA’20, each bring a deep understanding of management and business practices. The team draws from its diverse professional experiences in technology, healthcare, marketing, public sector, construction, and more to build creative and impactful business solutions.

"Social impact organizations are being challenged to deliver more value than ever before. Recent NeXus teams have executed a range of projects that have enabled boards and management teams to take their organizations to the next level," says John Visser, a NeXus board member.
