Rotman Alumni and Students Named as Emerging Leaders for 2023 by The Peak.

Toronto – Nine graduates and current students of programs at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management have been named as Emerging Leaders for 2023 by The Peak.

The list features up-and-coming young leaders under the age of 40 who are shaping Canada's economy, culture, and society in 2023. The Peak is a Canadian media company offering daily newsletters and podcasts with a focus on business and technology news.

Jordyn  Benattar JD/MBA’19, Founder and President of Speakwell was honoured in the Entrepreneurship category.

Farzan  Dadfar, MBA’23, Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Operations of NKS Health received the award in the Healthcare category.

Ryan Khurana, MMA’20, Chief of Staff of WOMBO Studios Inc, was honoured in the Startups and Tech category.

Robert Meth, MBA’12, Head of SMB of DoorDash, was honoured in the Consumer-Products category.

Christine Prada, MBA’13, CEO of Future Fertility, was honoured in the Healthcare category.

Mark Sam, MBA’09, Head of Canada of Plaid, received the award in the Startups and Tech category.

Dr. Mohamad Sawwaf, Executive MBA’16, Founder & CEO of Manzil, received the award in the Finance Category.

Hao Tian, MFin’15, Associate, Sustainability Advisory at CIBC Capital Markets, was also honoured in the Finance category.

Alexandra Zavattiero, MBA’17, Director, Executive Talent Management at CIBC, was honoured in the People and Culture category.

In addition, Meghan Chayka Co-Founder of Stathletes Inc., who is the Data Scientist in Residence at the Rotman School’s TD Management and Analytics Lab, received the award in the Sports category.
