Why did you decide to study the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting program?

Since I completed my undergrad through the Accounting Specialist, the CPA designation holds the required level of accreditation and flexibility as an accounting professional. The program has so far added a lot of value in recalling technical review and has helped to guide me along a process to improve on case-writing and its approach.

What are your main reasons for choosing Rotman?

Since the undergrad level, Rotman professors who I have encountered in the accounting stream really care about the material and knowledge that they impart to students. They have always been very clear on delivering what is required for us to know and have proactively gone out to look for ways to improve their teaching curriculum. Having had them in undergrad and seeing proof of their ability to simplify and teach concepts, I was grateful to be able to take part in pursuing this path at Rotman.

What are you looking forward to most in the program?

I look forward to the latter half of the program the most, where I can then compare the progress and improvement that I will attain to the level that I am at right now at the beginning of the program.

The Rotman Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (GDipPA) is a CPA Accredited 12-week summer program that helps prepare you for the Common Final Examination (CFE) and satisfies the four modules of the CPA PEP.
