Why did you decide to study the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting program?
From the start, I knew I wanted to do a grad diploma to help me get my CPA. I wanted to be able to focus on my studies without having the stress and distraction of also working full time. While the CPA Ontario modules are the right choice for some people, I prefer the guidance that you get from professors in a classroom setting.
What are your main reasons for choosing Rotman?
My main reason for choosing Rotman was that I wanted to participate in a case-based learning program that would mimic the CFE, and I knew that Rotman’s program has had a high CFE pass rate in the past several years. But also, I wanted to move to Toronto to have a fun summer!
What are you looking forward to most in the program?
I’m most excited for the social events, and getting to meet everyone else in the program!
The Rotman Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (GDipPA) is a CPA Accredited 12-week summer program that helps prepare you for the Common Final Examination (CFE) and satisfies the four modules of the CPA PEP.
