Why did you decide to study the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting program?

I chose to study the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting because I believe it is the best preparation for the CFE. Not only will the program strengthen my technical competency areas but expose me to the case format of the September examinations. Furthermore, the condensed summer semester allows me to focus on completing my required courses before starting work full-time in the Fall.

What are your main reasons for choosing Rotman?

The top reason I chose Rotman was for its incredible international reputation, particularly in accounting. I believe that the school attracts the brightest students and professors that will help me develop both personally and professionally. However, beyond Rotman’s reputation, another contributing factor to my decision was its location. Having studied in Toronto over the past four years, I fell in love with the city and am excited to spend the summer experiencing all it has to offer!

What are you looking forward to most in the program?

One of my favourite things about studying at the University of Toronto, in particular at Rotman, is the fact that it attracts some of the brightest students and professors in the country. This summer, I look forward to getting to know my classmates from all over Canada as well as learning from such knowledgeable and experienced professors!

The Rotman Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (GDipPA) is a CPA Accredited 12-week summer program that helps prepare you for the Common Final Examination (CFE) and satisfies the four modules of the CPA PEP.
