Why did you decide to study the Master of Financial Risk Management program?

I’ve always valued understanding the connectivity between various fields of study and this program extends the knowledge I have accrued during the completion of my finance undergraduate degree. The MFRM provides an intense eight-month experience to gain practical insights into the burgeoning field of risk management.

What are your top reasons for choosing Rotman?

The Rotman School of Management is a highly regarded institution, among the most prestigious to pursue higher education. From the perspective of someone interested in researching interesting topics and accelerating their career in finance, this translates to a specialized and renowned faculty, unparalleled research infrastructure, and experiential learning opportunities in the form of an industry project.

What are you looking forward to most in the program?

The industry project is certainly a coveted part of the program. After having developed some important skills and concluded our fall semester we have an opportunity to apply what we’ve learned by working on a contextual risk management project at some of the largest providers of financial services in Canada and globally.

The Master of Financial Risk Management is a full time program designed to prepare ambitious young professionals for careers in risk management and finance.
