Why did you decide to study the Master of Financial Risk Management program?

Throughout my co-op placements during my undergrad I really enjoyed working in the financial industry. However, my co-ops also helped me realize I need to improve my quantitative skills and the MFRM program has the right courses and projects to help me strengthen my quantitative skills. In addition, the MFRM industry project will give me first-hand experience working with risk management professionals to tackle relevant issues which will allow me to strengthen my professional communication skills to better communicate solutions to decision-makers driven by analytics. Finally, this program will enable me to meet and interact with brilliant classmates and industry professionals.

What were your top reasons for choosing Rotman?

Rotman is centrally located in the heart of downtown Toronto, which provides great access to the financial district and the chance to explore and experience the downtown Toronto atmosphere. As well as being able to have the Rotman alumni status and network is amazing as it is one of the top business schools in Canada and recognized worldwide.

What are you looking forward to most in the program?
