Why did you decide to study the Master of Financial Risk Management program?
Risk management has been increasingly important in the financial industry since the crisis creating enormous opportunities. In the meantime, I am always a huge believer of data-driven decision making, and hence the MFRM program was a perfect choice for me.
What are your top reasons for choosing Rotman?
Rotman is one of the best business schools in North America with an outstanding faculty and alumni network. Its proximity to Bay Street also makes it an desirable option if one wants to start a career in the core of Canadian financial industry.
What are you looking forward to most in the program?
The unique industry project is for sure one of the most exciting parts of the program. For someone who did not have enough exposure to corporate work experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to fully engage with the industry and build connections. Apart from this, even more importantly, the people I have met in the program are tremendous, and I truly look forward to continuing working with them for the rest of the program, and in the industry if possible.
