Why did you decide to join the Master of Management Analytics program?

Studying Economics and Business Economics in my undergraduate degree and working in consulting, private equity and the start-up industry. I realized the increasing importance of data analytics in effective decision-making within organizations. However, lacking the technical experience in this field, I was searching for a Master's degree that would enable me to combine my prior experiences with the skillset necessary to translate data into practical decision-making. Joining the MMA program at Rotman ultimately allows me to become a valuable decision-maker for businesses in the future while contributing toward a data-driven change.

I look forward to working with an exceptional cohort on the pressing issues business and society face today. Rotman recruits not only exceptional students but also a unique mix of people from various different professional and cultural backgrounds. Coming from Germany, I am extremely excited to connect with interesting people from all over the world while challenging my own line of thought and gaining new perspectives. 

What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?

In the next 11 months, I expect to gain the technical foundation to kickstart my career in the world of data analytics. On top of that, I hope to interact with amazing people, including my cohort, professors, and Rotman's alumni network, allowing me to grow both personally and professionally.
