Why did you decide to study the Master of Management Analytics program?

After several years of working in the analytics space within a data engineering/systems implementation role, I was interested in learning more about the downstream data science activities that go into an analytical solution. In particular, I wanted to learn a structured and programmatic approach to problem solving that does not lose touch of the underlying business needs driving an analytical project.

What were your top reasons for choosing Rotman?

Whereas other analytics programs focus solely on the drivers and implications of analytics from a business perspective, Rotman’s MMA program strikes a great blend between technical and functional domains. In addition to the opportunity to hone my technical skills, Rotman’s reputation and rigor made it an easy choice.

What are you looking forward to most in the program?

I am looking forward to dedicating nine months to learning the ins and outs of an area that I am truly passionate about. I am even more excited by the prospect of doing this surrounded by like-minded and driven classmates.
