Why did you decide to study the Master of Management Analytics program?
The central reason I choose to join the MMA program was my desire for a career change into Data Analytics. For me, there was no better option than the MMA program at Rotman. With an excellent team of Professors, a large alumni network within Rotman, and additional professional development opportunities like the career services and Self Development Lab (SDL) I knew this program was right for me.

With a large hiring freeze and uncertain future, I know that Rotman would be a good place to weather the storm.
What are you looking forward to most in the program?
The connections I will make! With a small cohort of only 55 students all from diverse backgrounds, I am looking forward to hearing about their experiences all while getting a phenomenal education.
What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?
A strong foundation in Data Analytics off which I can build my career. This is also coupled with a desire to build some strong connections and friends (professors can be friends too!)!
How have you found the online experience at Rotman?
I think everyone can agree that the covid-19 pandemic has not been an easy thing to handle. I would have preferred an in-class experience, but I didn’t let this stop me from making some great connections and feeling like I am part of a community! The use of student-run communications channels has been a huge help!
Did COVID-19 make you re-consider your decision to study this year, and if so, what made you decide to continue?
I accepted my offer for this program in December of 2019 but even with the onset of COVID-19, I did not think to change this decision.
