We frequently hear our students mention expanding their professional network is one of the reasons they decided to study the Master of Finance program.  As soon as you start the program, their network expands as they meet their classmates, Rotman staff and faculty.  They’ll also have opportunities to meet alumni and industry leaders through the program.

Informal events with your peers are great for this.  They are at a similar stage of their career, are able to offer different perspectives and possibly even insight into an area you may wish to work in the future.

To help our students socialize and network outside of the classroom we hold regular events such as the Fall Mix ‘n’ Mingle Dinner held this October.  At the event, students from our 2020 and 2021 classes enjoyed fun conversations over a Thanksgiving menu.  This was the second social gathering of the year for the 2021 class after their orientation dinner, and the first for both classes together since the academic year started in September.

Events like this are typically held once per term.
