Bio

Nan Li is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto, Scarborough, with a cross appointment to the Accounting Area at the Rotman School of Management. Her research focuses on the intersection of human capital, financial reporting, and the capital market. Her research examines firms’ connections in the labor market and develops a new measure of labor market peer firms.  Her research agenda focuses on understanding how online professional networking platforms, such as LinkedIn and Glassdoor, reshape a firm’s information environment.
