Ultimately, the responsibility of making value added decisions in the boardroom falls on the shoulders of the directors. Senior executives, as the board’s primary source of information, and, of course, the leaders of the organization’s operations, have significant influence over board’s ability to do its job effectively. The objective of this webinar is to highlight some of the ways that executives tend to get in the way of board effectiveness, and provide guidance as to what they can do to actively add value in the boardroom. For this webinar, Matt Fullbrook, formerly of the David & Sharon Johnston Centre for Corporate Governance Innovation, Rotman School of Management, will be joined by Hugh Arnold, Adjunct Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, Rotman School of Management.
