SYNOPSIS: Economic prosperity depends on broad inclusion of people in high growth sectors such as STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). When considering women’s economic inclusion, an important conversation focuses on how to attract more women and girls into STEM fields and assure that they are able to succeed – in both their education and their subsequent careers as entrepreneurs or in organizations. In conjunction with International Women’s Day, we are holding this public panel discussion on Women in STEM. Our event will focus on new ideas for attracting women of all backgrounds into STEM, making sure their school and work environments are inclusive so that they can succeed, and what changes can be made to assure success in entrepreneurship or the corporate world.
