Synopsis: Ready, Set, Innovate!

Do you have a project or idea you are looking to develop within your company or family business but don’t know how to start? Intrapreneurship may be your answer!

Come join the Clarkson Centre for Board Effectiveness at Rotman School of Management and the Intrapreneurial Initiative as we host an event on Intrapreneurship and Governing Innovation.

In the first part of the event, the Intrapreneurial Initiative will dive into the concepts and mechanisms of Intrapreneurship – a strategic business activity that leverages internal expertise, know how and resources to either access new markets or to create a new business or new line of business. Discover new ways of looking at your business through the lens of innovation and find out how you can get started in your own business

In the second part of the event, the Clarkson Centre for Board Effectiveness at Rotman School of Management will discuss governing new innovations within your company. What can you do to ensure the highest probability of success for your new idea? Employing the right governing strategies is the 1st step in allowing creative innovation within the context of your values and vision for the business.

Organizer of Intrapreneurship & Governing Innovation

The Clarkson Centre for Business Ethics and Board Effectiveness is the locus of corporate governance research and communications at the Rotman School. The Centre monitors Canadian corporate governance trends and provides guidance to firms looking to improve their decision making, board effectiveness and disclosure.

The Intrapreneurial Initiative is a program fueled by the Business Families Foundation for inspiring entrepreneurs who are currently in a business that are looking to promote innovation and growth from within.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing to 24 hours prior to the event will receive a refund less a $10 administration fee per person. If we do not receive written notice of your cancellation, you will be charged the full amount for this session. Substitutions are always welcome.
