The certificate is available to all Rotman students, as well as anyone from the broader public. If you attend four sessions in total you are eligible for the certificate, with one exception – if a student attends all three MedTech sessions they will be eligible for a certificate. A person may take up to two years to complete the necessary sessions for a module sticker or the certificate. Details of events will be posted above and updated on an on-going basis.

Katie LeMoyne is the Principal, TELUS Health Exchange within TELUS Health. Katie is responsible for TELUS Health’s integration platform, the TELUS Health Exchange (THX), with a focus on connecting the primary care ecosystem. The THX platform supports TELUS Health’s MedDialog clinical messaging service and EMR Partner Program, as well as Canada Health Infoway’s ePrescribing service, PrescribeIT. Prior to joining TELUS Health Katie worked in the United States both at Northwestern Medicine and as a healthcare IT consultant leading strategy, implementation and change management projects. Katie has a BSc in Health Information Science from the University of Victoria and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Erik Sande is the President of Medavie Health Services where he leads a team of healthcare professionals delivering out-of-hospital emergency medical services and home based primary care across six Canadian provinces. Prior to joining MHS, Erik was Vice President and General Manager of Home Monitoring Solutions for Philips Healthcare where he led a technology and services team in North America, Europe and Asia.

Prior to joining Think Research, William was a partner with PwC and led their healthcare team in Canada. William has spent more than 25 years as a strategist and management consultant in New York and Toronto, advising top academic centres, governments, and innovative companies in healthcare. He has academic appointments as an Executive-in-Residence at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and an Executive Fellow at the Mowat Centre, and is a Senior Fellow at the C.D. Howe Institute.
