Rotman-Odgers Berndtson New Leader Integration Program

Make your first year count

The first year in a new role or organization is one of the most challenging steps in your career. Expectations to produce results and secure early wins combine to create a high-pressure, high-stress environment.

The New Leader Integration program, designed jointly by the Rotman School of Management and integrated leadership advisory firm Odgers Berndtson, prepares new executives for success during their first year by accelerating their impact through mastering team and organizational dynamics, building strong relationships with peers and team members, and ably navigating challenges and change from day one.

What You'll Learn

Each member of the class will receive one-on-one coaching to develop their roadmap to success. Ensure Your Future Success

Today’s new leaders face a much more complex environment than even just a few years ago, from virtual environments, to unprecedented levels of stress, burnout, and mental health issues that make it very difficult for a new executive to assess the true potential of their team.

Today’s businesses also face heightened expectations around social and environmental responsibility, issues that new leaders have often had only limited visibility to in their previous roles. The business environment continues to operate at a much faster pace and with greater complexity than ever before. New executives are expected to make a visible impact within the first three months in their roles.

These issues combine into a perfect storm that make “getting it right” in the first year critical, which has created a strong need for accelerated executive leadership training and development opportunities.
