A new approach
The Rotman-SDA Bocconi GEMBA blends each school’s focus on inquiry, innovation and impact with a new, global approach to leadership. We've designed an inclusive and challenging MBA that gives you the strategic know-how, practical tools, creative insights and hands-on experience you need to fast-track your career.
You’ll immerse yourself in the local cultures of seven international business centres, and compare European and North American perspectives in our two home cities: Toronto, Canada’s multicultural financial capital and innovation hub, and Milan, a leading centre of manufacturing, design and finance. GEMBA students earn two credentials: an MBA from the Rotman School and a Global Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi.
Both schools are research-intensive and renowned for their original scholarship, which means you will be learning from experts who are thought leaders in their fields. Our top-ranked faculty act as mentors, offer guidance and help open doors to new opportunities. You will also engage with the corporate leaders who regularly visit our campuses and welcome us on site tours, sharing their firsthand understanding of global business challenges.
Leading globally
As part of this transformative journey, you will grow your potential as a leader through a customized leadership development program, taking advantage of regular personal assessments, skills workshops, coaching conversations and a leadership retreat – plus networking support as you shift to the next phase of your career.
Because the program attracts such an exceptional group of managers and executives, you will develop a network of professionals from across organizations, sectors, countries and cultural backgrounds, building relationships that extend far beyond graduation. And you can stay connected to your GEMBA teammates and benefit from the international alumni networks of the Rotman School and the University of Toronto, and SDA Bocconi and Bocconi University.
We welcome you to join us and unlock your full leadership potential on the international stage.
