Quick info

  • MMA Class of 2022
  • Previous education:
    • Bachelor of Commerce, McGill University, 2021

Why did you decide to join the Master of Management Analytics program?

After completing my undergraduate degree in business with a concentration in data analytics, I wanted to further expand my technical skills with data. The MMA offered the unique opportunity to develop both the necessary hard skills, accompanied by soft skills and business acumen. Entering the workforce I wanted to be equipped with these skills to better progress through my career in the data industry.

Top reason(s) for choosing Rotman:

  • Calibre of faculty and teaching staff
  • Integrated learning with the practicum project, and being able to apply classroom lessons to real business scenarios
  • Vast network of both MMA and Rotman graduates
  • Being in the beautiful and bustling city of Toronto!

What are you looking forward to the most in the program?

I am most looking forward to participating in the wide variety of networking and personal development sessions held by the MMA team. We have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding about how we work, both independently and on teams, that will provide huge benefits post-graduation. Having access to our network, guest speakers, practicum hosts and visiting companies is also an exciting opportunity to explore several industries and positions we may hold after completing the MMA program.

What do you expect to gain in your next 11 months at Rotman?

I expect to gain applicable skills for exploring, analyzing and deploying data in the workplace. I also hope to exit the program with a deeper understanding of working in diverse teams and how to capitalize on differences.
