Bio

Jeff is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Toronto in the Department of Management at UTSC with a cross-appointment to the Economic Analysis & Policy Area at the Rotman School of Management. He received a Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at the University of British Columbia in 2021. He studies the design and implementation of taxation and transfer systems. He was a researcher involved with the British Columbia Basic Income Panel and a visiting researcher at the Department of Finance in Ottawa.
