What you'll learn
Each module will take approximately 8-10 hours to complete.

Develop fluency in the key concepts, including language associated with gender identity and intersectionality, and learn how these can impact the success or risks of new products and services

Develop respectful and ethical approaches for collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data that is disaggregated by gender and other intersecting identities

Learn the key principles of human-centered design and how to apply design thinking to create, prototype and test innovative and inclusive products and services

Rotman’s Inclusive Business Innovation will serve as your compass on an in-depth professional journey. This program will be delivered over Quercus. Quercus is the University of Toronto’s name for our Learning Management Engine which is powered by Canvas. Information on Canvas supported browsers can be found here.
For best performance, we recommend only accessing Quercus using the latest two release versions of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. While the Canvas/Quercus support page linked above lists other compatible browsers, we strongly advise against using Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Safari. There are known issues with these browsers.

Before beginning the application process, please review the application policies and note the following exception for the Rotman Inclusive Business Innovation program: Deferral requests for this program are not accepted. Participants are required to adhere to the refund policy and enroll in the next available program offering. To apply, complete the online application form.
Participant Notification Process
Participants will receive a notice of admission within 5 business days of receipt of a completed application and fee. One week before the course, you will receive your log-in information. If you anticipate any challenges in completing the program requirements, please contact us as soon as possible.
